SF SEIU 1021 Rally At DHR

On March 5, We Head to City Hall

In February 14, more than six hundred SEIU Local 1021 San Francisco City Workers, stood up to the bosses at DHR and demanded equity

for women and people of color.

City bosses proposes to implement a two-tier wage system to undermine pay equity laws correcting decades of discriminatory wages in city government. Historically, jobs held by women and people of color would pay far less than those held by men.

If we accept the City’s proposal now:
• All current workers wages will be under attack in the near future.
• It will be harder to win pay increases for SF city workers.
• The city may propose additional wage cuts for
more job classifications.
• It will roll back a 30 year old civil right victory.

WE SAY NO WAY! We are going to City Hall because only Mayor Lee can stop these dreadful cuts.
