On John Lennon's birthday October 9, 2016, a rally sponsored by LaborNet.org was held outside the San Francisco mansion of billionaire Mark Zuckerberg the owner of Facebook to protest the censorship and privatization of the internet. Participants discussed Zuckerberg's agreement with the apartheid Israeli government and Netanyahu to censor the internet with critical content of the Israeli government. Facebook is also censoring live streaming from Standing Rock Native American pipeline protesters and Kurdish activists.
