Stop the NLRB Assault on Workers
Source News for Social Justice Activists
Date 07/11/07/02:16

The Bush-appointed National Labor Relations Board has launched an
all-out attack on America's workers. The board's contempt for workers
peaked in September, when it issued more than 60 decisions mostly
attacking workers' freedom to form unions.

The NLRB is supposed to protect our workplace rights-not take them
away. The board was created to encourage workers to have unions and
bargain collectively to improve lives and build a strong middle
class. But the board appointed by President Bush is worse than having
no labor board at all.

On Nov. 15 at 11:30 a.m.:

ASSEMBLE: at the AFL-CIO
815 16th St. N.W., Washington, D.C.

MARCH: To NLRB Headquarters
14th and L Streets, N.W.

Join us to stop the anti-worker NLRB's assault on workers.
Until we have a labor board that works for working people, it should
be closed for renovation.

Sponsored by the unions of the AFL-CIO and the Metropolitan
Washington Council, AFL-CIO.
