International UFCW President Doug Dority and AFL-CIO President John Sweeney have called a summit in Los Angeles Tuesday, December 16, 2003 of all U.S. and Canadian Presidents of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union.

Following this historic summit of UFCW Labor Leaders who represent the 1.4 million members,  a Rally and March will take place in Century City, California.

Please join the UFCW, AFL-CIO, Labor Leaders, Clergy, and Community in making this event the largest of the ten week battle to gain a fair contract. As a symbol of the ten week struggle, tens of thousands of working class people are invited to Rally together to send this message to CEO and Corporate Scrooge, Steven Burd of Safeway/Vons.

MARCH to VONS Pavilions located at Olympic and Beverly Blvd., Beverly Hills. Tens of Thousands expected to attend, making this the largest RALLY of labor in Southern California.
