Deregulation, Privatization & Union-busting-
Laying Down the Gauntlet
The Bush administration is moving to privatize 850,000 federal jobs. At the
same time they have eliminated labor rights for 170,000 workers of the
"HomeLand Security Department. Labor On the Job will look at this process
not only in San Francisco but nationally and internationally.
Joining the program will be AFGE3899 Louis Garcia, Energy Economist Eugene
Coyle and LIUNA member and former Presidio federal worker Charlie Minster.
Coyle will also report on his presentation at an anti privatization
conference in Seoul, Korea where trade unionists from throughout the world
joined together to compare notes on deregulation and privatization.

Racism From Wonderbread to FedEx
Join labor discrimination and civil rights lawyer Waukeen McCoy as he
exposes the continuing flagrant racism in the workplace. After successfully
winning a suit against Wonderbread he is now challenging the policies of the
FedEx corporation.

"Labor On The Job" is programmed the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month on
San Francisco Cable Channel 29 at 8:00 PM.
"Labor On The Job" is the longest running labor cable show in the United
States. It has been programmed since 1983. It is produced by the Labor Video
Project and it is also programmed in Sacramento, California; Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and Kalamazoo, Michigan.
"Labor On The Job" also produces labor documentaries and is part of the
Union Producers and Programmers Network (UPPNET).
