1) As part of a national stop work day to pay homage to Rosa Parks for her action that inspired the civil rights movement;
2) To demand an end to the war in Iraq and withdraw the troops NOW;
3) To act in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in South Korea who are organizing a general strike Dec. 1 to protest the exploitation of casual/part time temporary work. These workers like workers in the US are forced to work under substandard conditions and wages with no social benefits.
