Labor Campaign Stops Closure Of Labor Art Show

The threatened closure of the labor artist Mike Connor was stopped as a
result of a broad telephone campaign by labor activists and leaders in New
York. After numerous angry calls from trade unionists throughout the New
York area, the Cornell-Manhattan ILR management backed down and withdrew the
demand that the show come down.
This is a victory for IBEW/IATSE artist Mike Connor and others who are
fighting against censorship of labor art and media.
